For Vital Matters, Pride is 365, and helps us find the fabulousness in the natural world, including humans.
This summer, we are hard at work putting together a Queer Climate Cabaret for October 17. Our cabaret will feature performances and art works inspired by queer ecology, reimagine drag as an interspecies affair, and invite you to a KiKi with Kin you didn't know you had!
You can help us bring the Queer Climate Cabaret to life by donating here. Your donation will support the hard work of our amazing Queer Climate Cabaret team, which includes Chris Jay and Pretty Rik E. of Pretty Boi Drag, Nigel Semaj, Jacob Marrero, Bao Nguyen, and other artists from our regional queerscapes. We are excited that special guest Eli Nixon, author of Bloodtide, will be joining us from Rhode Island for a book talk. Stay tuned for more artists joining soon!

JOIN US FOR ONE OR MORE WORKSHOPS!
The Queer Climate Workshop Series brings together the themes of climate, queerness and performance, and invites participants to exercise their creativity as they explore, create and perform with experienced artists from the disciplines of dance, theatre, printmaking, drag, writing, puppetry and more.
Sign up for as many of these workshops as you like. Build community and conversation around the fruitful and fascinating intersections of climate, queerness, and performance.

Join us for A Queer Climate Cabaret on Thursday, October 17th at the Creative Alliance. Performers will reimagine drag as an interspecies affair, and invite you to a KiKi with Kin you didn’t even know you had! Our cabaret crew of artists includes Jacob Marrero, Unique Robinson, Chris Jay and Pretty Rik E. of Pretty Boi Drag, Nigel Semaj, Jacab Budenz, Susan McCully, Bao Nguyen, and others from our regional queerscapes.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for an artist market wtih queer vendors and tabling from local climate and environmental justice organizations - come early for hand-made gifts and learn how you can get involved!
